New KIC Logo Helps To Launch New Energy And Broader Market Scope

As part of the association’s re-launch and enhanced industry focus, a new logo has been instituted to update the look and feel with more vibrancy and energy. The design reveals the council’s objective to expand the breath of karting to be included in the new organization.

The bright colors and bold design includes images representing more karting types and add a bit of “bling” with the reflective surfaces. The design was created internally by the organization’s new Executive Director, Ray Verhelst.

According to Peter Rosati, current KIC president, “We are very excited to use this dynamic artwork as part of the re-branding of the association and from what we have seen this is just the tip of the iceberg.” Rosati’s company iBeam Inc. will be responsible for an updated website with a number of new membership features under development.

Look for more announcements and official press releases coming in the next few weeks.

New Outlook For Re-Emerging KIC

With more than 37 years behind it, the KIC is launching a re-emergence to become the unified voice for the broadest range of the karting community. From fun karts to high performance sprint racing, road racing and dirt ovals, this single voice will promote manufacturers, distributors, dealers, tracks, organizers and supporting suppliers throughout the country.

As the only true industry non-profit association, the new KIC is set to grow into the primary resource for market research, business case studies, industry trends and advocates of safety and growth.

An expanded board with industry specific directors positions will help to give a voice to all karting business channels with the objective of exchanging ideas and to improve commerce opportunities based on experience.

In addition to becoming an industry centric resource, the new KIC will be launching a consumer marketing campaign designed to reach out to the general public with the goal of educating and driving consumers to experience karting for the first time. The association’s goal is to grow the karting entire community and drive traffic to our members.

The new KIC will become a voice of both outdoor and indoor karting and we will embrace peripheral markets such as the junior off-road and dragster communities.

Parts of the organization’s re-launch plans include a new highly interactive website with membership areas that provide access to reports, white papers, study results and industry discussions.

An example of the type of research being developed for members is a white paper on the advantages of Forex (foreign currency markets) and navigating international banking and leveraging exchange rates.

Online surveys covering a broad scope of industry topics will be captured and reported on to the membership. Educational resources will be available both during the annual member’s conference as well as online.

Stay tuned for the official announcement and more details on the re-launch and how you can benefit from it.
