Established in 1973 and comprised of businesses involved with manufacturing, distribution, importing/exporting and reselling karting-related products, the Karting Industry Council (KIC) is the oldest and largest independent trade association for the sport in North America.

KIC’s goal is a simple one — to Promote Karting Through Leadership. With KIC’s aggressive national marketing and promotion program, KIC hopes to focus attention on what has been called “The World’s Most Popular Motorsport”.
