Current co-owner Dan Klutz worked for Doss & Sons of Winston-Salem, NC, and began servicing the early kart engines due to Doss & Sons’ dealer arrangements with McCulloch Chain Saws.By 1973, the karting business became large enough to open a division of Doss & Sons Saws, then known as Competition Karting Specialties.
